An NHS board has said it will investigate a 19-year-old woman's complaint that a hospital worker told her family about her secret abortion.
The unidentified mother-of-two said she was disowned by her Catholic grandmother after an administrator at the hospital in South Wales broke confidentiality about the three-month termination.
She told the BBC her grandmother's strong faith meant she could not forgive her.
"I was absolutely devastated. Me and my nan used to be really close. Now she passes me in the street without a word," she said.
"I'm a good mum and I love my kids. But I couldn't have another baby. My boyfriend was off to the Army - I would have been left on my own with three babies."
A spokeswoman for Cwm Taf Health Board, which runs Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil, said: "We can confirm that we are currently engaged with her as part of the complaint procedure."
Last week a similar breach of confidentiality claim was made about Luton and Dunstable hospital, when a 16-year-old girl was reportedly thrown out after a nurse told her family she had an abortion. The hospital said it was reviewing the case.
